The exercises below would normally be without speaking in the groups. Only the one who gives the challenges can speak.

"Groups
with something in common": One (Ruben) asks people to make
groups - different number of people, different "match" for instance;
colour of eyes.
"Car":
Make a group of 6 people and make the sculpture of a car.
"Animal":
make a group of 6-7 people and make a sculpture of an animal. (Other groups
guessing what animal it is).
"Day
of birth": Make a long row of birthdays from January 1.
to December 31. in order. Everyone has to find where to belong in order
of dates. This has to be done in silence and the instruction was that
1st January would be in one end of the room and 31st December in the other
end. An example of communication was given: number of fingers showing
first the month and then the date.
