Report from Open Space Workshops, Thur. 6.11.2003

Confidence and concern that we may harm someone:
1. As a person we should know exactly what it means to hurt someone
2. Not allow the audience to make judgements
3. Don't start with attitude toward the participants
4. We need techniques, methods, to be able to control a situation through preparation, flexibility.
5. The needs of the group are important expectations
6. To find the balance in a multiethnic group supporting ones and not isolating the others.

7 First we have to build trust in the group
8. Balance of facilitators - who is doing what?
9. Warming up - feeling the empty space in order to build trust
10. Letting people decide whether to take part in a workshop or game or not. Do they feel good and safe to take part?
